Looking for information on a family of Harnums or Harmons who lived in Kingwell, Placentia Bay in the 1870's. The husband (first name unknown) married Julia (surname unknown). According to stories passed down, he drowned in the winter of 1878 while crossing the ice to pick up supplies in Harbour Buffett. Julia was three months pregnant at the time. She had her baby in August, 1879 and named her Rhoda. Julia later married a Wareham (first name unknown). Rhoda went by the name Rhoda Wareham. Rhoda married Richard Boutcher. When he died, she married Levi Temple. Any tidbit of information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I now have a copy of the first marriage of Rhoda to Richard Boutcher. It seems that her parents may not have been Harnums or Harmons. The copy says: Dec.2, 1900 -- Harbour Buffett Richard Bouthcher, 24, fisherman, CofE, Harbour Buffett Rhoda Arnott Wareham, 22, CofE, Harbour Buffett Married by Rev. Arthur Shorter. Witnesses were John Wareham and Eva Boutcher. This leads me to think that her name may have been Arnott or Harnett depending on how it was spoken. Her mother may have kept her father's name with her even though she was raised by a Wareham, her mother's second husband. He may have been George Wareham. Hoping for some new information. Thanks
