Hello and I am looking for any information on Sullivan/Nolan in the St. John area. I have very limited information. My grandfther was Michael Sullivan, born in St. John's Newfoundland on February 15, 1853. His first wife was Margaret (surname unknown) born in 1845. According to his death certificate (B.C. certificate) his mother was Ann Nolan, born in Ireland, father Patrick Sullivan, sea captain. Patrick Sullivan was a sea captain. My mother also vaguely remembers her father Michael saying that he had a sister Kathleen. Any information on this family or suggestions where I could find more information would be appreciated.
