I am the GG granddaughter of Thomas Roberts. According to family records, he was born 11 DEC 1845. According to his death report, he was born 11 DEC 1846. They both agree that he was born in Brigus, Conception Bay, Newfoundland. I am looking for his parents-Thomas Roberts & Susanna WELLS. These are his parents listed on his report of death. I know that he came to the U.S. with his mother at the age of 9 yrs (1854/55) there is no mention of brothers or sisters that I can find, nor what happened to his father. I do not know if his mother remarried and came to the U.S., or if she had family here already-and came to join them. Someone must have information on my family, perhaps somebody is "missing" their Susanna WELLS? I have not found records of her as of yet. All I know is that grandpa Roberts lived in Brooklyn, so I assume she was there also. I am very proud of the man my grandfather became, he was much respected and served his country and fellow citizens well. Thank you, Lori
