I am looking for information on the parents of Duncan Barnes, born 1863. He lived in Boot HR most of his life. Married Frances Simms/Simons (sp?) then Mary Ann Butt, then another women from what I have found in his 40th year, shortly after Mary Ann's death.
Wentworth Barnes (born Oct 1888), Son of Duncan and Frances is my great Grandfather.
The family moved to Toronto and Wentworth and his wife Bessie Louise Howell had my grandfather, Bruce Wentworth Barnes.
I have not been able to find any trace of parents for Duncan. I believe he was a Master Mariner/Capt. throughout his lifetime there.
Any information is welcome. I would love to know how far back my family goes in NL.

May Elizabeth Barnes b. ?? d/o Duncan & Frances
