Hi,
Not surie if you can help me, but I was trying to trace my family heritage and was looking for info on Mary Catherine Carter who was married to Patrick Chaisson. Looking to see if there was any Macmac ties or possible birth certificates or documents regarding there status.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

On the baptismal record for Frances Jane Chaisson the witnesses are a Frank Bejou and Jane Benoit, I believe Frank Bejou is the stepfather of Mary Catherine Carter and Jane Benoit is her mother. I believe Frank Bejous real name was Francois Beguin, see following info.

It might be difficult to establish a connection for Jane Benoit to her parents without a name of a father in the records as there are several female Benoit's in the records who cannot be placed with a confirmed parentage.
