I'm looking for any help on my search through my family tree. I'm looking into my family trees on my mother parents sides and I've hit a little bit of a road block.
I am looking for more information about my Grandmother Juanita Simms (b: 1929 in Main Point) Here's what I'm looking for :
I know her father Allan Simms (b:1897 in Main Point) parents are : Frank Boaz Simms and Harriet ?? (maiden name unknown). Any information on Harriet would be greatly appreciated.
And I have no information on her mother at all with the exception her first name is Blanche J. or Jessica/Jessie Blanche born around 1908 (give or take a year) in Main Point. I have pulled this information for the 1935 & 45 Census.
Next I'm looking to get more information on my Grandfather Harold Barnes (b: 1926 in Hare Bay d: 2002) who I have very limited information on. So really any information would be helpful. This is what I know :
He has 4 sisters (Gerti, Caroline, Lydia and Beatrice) and 2 brother (Claude and Tom). His mother's name is Dorcas ?? (b: 1910 in Hare Bay) I am unable to find her maiden name. She married Harold's father who passed away after 1939/1940 (who I have no information on - again any would be appreciated) and remarried a man named Reginald Hodder (b: 1915 in Main Point) I believe they had 1 or 2 children ... Beatrice and Tom could be their names.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is looking for information on either of these families please reply as I do have some information that I would be happy to share
