Looking for the parents of Julia Ann Messervey Birth 04 May 1852 in Stephenville,Sandy Point,Newfoundland,Canada
Death 27 Feb 1902 in Stephenville,Sandy Point,Newfoundland,Canada,...Her parents names are William Messervey and Charlotte Swyer her Birth Sept 1830 in St. George’s Harbour,NL not sure where William Merrervey is from most likley the same area but not sure.Any info would be great.

The baptismal records for the Anglican Cathedral of St John the Baptist have a record for William Messervey b Jan 8, 1823 baptised September 21, 1825 son of Philip Messervey and Harriett Jacobs. William's place of birth is listed as St George's Bay. There is also a record for his brother John and a note about his father. Mary Messervey was the daughter of George Messervey (c1805-1875) and
Fanny Renouf (c1803-1871).

Mary (Messervey) Banfield was born circa 1831 at Sandy Point and she died sometime
after 1866. She was the eldest child of George Messervey and Fanny Renouf, both of
whom were born at Sandy Point. George's father Philip was born at St. Helier's, Jersey,
and his mother Susanne was born near Sandy Point. Fanny's father was likely born in
Jersey and her mother Mary was born at Barachoix.
