I am trying to build on the geneology of Edward J. Duff 1864 St. John's (died 1929) possible telegrapher in Harbour Grace and his wife Mary H. Daly (?) Duff 1869 Harbour Grace (?) (died 1955).
I have just returned from visiting NFL for the first time with my father. His mother was Claire Duff (Durkee) born in 1902 believe Harbour Grace. She had a sister Rose born 1912, Annie born 1896. She also had many more siblings Mary 1892 (Ford), Margarite 1909,10(Hartigan), Madeliene (Caithaml), Gertrude 1894 (Hillard), Nancy, Delores 1905 (Marks), Roberta (Brockne), Theresa 1906.
Three children died as infants: Catherine Magdalen, Ronald and Leo - buried in Bellevue
Some were born in Rantem according to the census.
