I am researching the Read, Carter, Moors and Taverner families from Trinity and Greenspond areas
Mainly researching Thomas Read and his wife Ann (Moors) daughter of William Moors and Patience (Taverner)
Thomas was born in Christchurch Hants (Hampshire) England.Thomas came to Trinity in 1792 to work as an agent for Benjamin and Mary Lester, he later started his own company in Partnership with Richard Sleat
I am also trying to find Sarah (Carter) Read's parents. Sarah was born in Greenspond in 1796 she married Thomas Read (Jnr) in 1817, I am hoping to find a connection to the Greenspond Carters but as yet have no positive evidence on her parents
I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

hi Macduder,
I would like to share our information on the Taverners
Patience Taverner is the daughter of Benjamin and Ann Taverner
Patience was born 1753, Married William Moors 1774 Trinity Newfoundland
Benjamin is the son of Jacob Taverner
I have some information on Patience and Benjamin's siblings parents etc
Would it be possible to have your email address as there is too much information to post here
Thank you for your offer to share your information it would be very good to have as much info as possible
