Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

I have found Benjamin George Knee in Pool's Island...born abt. 1864, married Sophie Dyke in 1905. I can trace this family forward to my generation, however I can't go any further into the earlier generations. I don't know if Benjamin was born in Newfoundland and don't know his father or grandfather's names...they probably came from Ireland but I have nothing to go on. Can anyone help? Thanks.
