Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Hi,

I am looking for information on my Mother's Great Grandmother, Mary Jane(Cox) Newport.
I have been unable to find out much about her. I do know she married Samuel Newport around 1868 or 69 and had 10 children with him all but three died young. Mary Jane herself died June 3, 1891 in Whale Cove Burin Newfoundland. Samuel remarried a couple years later and moved to Halifax Ns. where he died in 1915 so sadly the family remembers little of Mary Jane. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated.
