Looking for info on my great grand parents..Stephen Hannaford who married Mary Walsh(welsh)from petty harbour I believe..any info would be greatly appreciated..they had one son that I know of,my grandfather James Hannaford who married Ruth Shapleigh...hope to hear from someone soon...Thanks

Where did your family reside? There was a Stephen Hannaford (1867) and his wife Mary (1875) who had a son James (1903) who resided in Grand Falls in 1921.
There was also Stephen Hannaford (1883) who married Josephine Walsh (1887) in 1907
at St. John's who also had a son James.
Samuel Hannaford (1828-1890), son of Stephen Hannaford, married Mary Walsh (1839-1913) in 1858. They had a son James (1863-1894).

The Stephen I am looking for is the one who is listed in Grand Falls in the 1921 census..thats all the info I have on Grandfathers family,his parents names..If you have any info on this line or could possibly point me in the right direction I would be forever grateful...Thanks
