Your names seem to indicate that Peter and Ella were Catholic. Do a search on this site and the internet for Ward Greene. They won't let you post e-mail addresses directly in this forum.
Ward has been poking around for a long time chasing the Corbins in Newfoundland, maybe he can provide a short cut to your search.
Otherwise do a search on this site for Corbin Carbonear and see what you find. I have found only two sons for Thomas and Sarah Corbin and they both appear to have been born in Harbour Grace. George John born circa 1849 and Frederick presumably late 1840s or in the 1850s.
George John and Elizabeth Rebecca Martin (my family) married about 1880 presumably in Harbour Grace and brother Frederick married Sadie Tweedy in Brooklyn, 7 June 1889. Undoubtedly that is why George and Elizabeth headed there later.
