Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

I am looking for information about my great grandmother. My grandparents were Louis F.Newell b. 1900, in Bareneed or Dock and my grandmother Florence Gardner b. 1906 in Flowers Cove. Florence's father's name is Robert Gardner. His first wife was Florence's mother. She died shortly after the birth of their second child Stanley Gardner who went to live with relatives in Flowers Cove. Florence's mothers name may be Edna Whalen but I can find no record of her birth, marriage or death. any info or leads would be appreciated.
