Post subject:  Lacy family

Looking for info on the Lacy/Lacey family of Mulley's Cove, Blackhead. NL. Early immigrant may have been John Lacy who was a bootmaker. This John had as his apprentice, James Reynolds, who came from Devon. James Reynolds was married to Elizabeth Kennedy. Robert Lacy, John's son, married Rachel Thistle 1809/1810 in St. John's. Robert and Rachel Thistle had a son named John, who is my 2 gt. grandfather. I'd be interested to learn any info on the Lacy family, going back to the mid-1700's. I'd also be interested in any Lacy descendants with info on their branch of the family.
