Good day fellow genealogists
I am looking for a Coombs that would have married an Mary Elizabeth Emberley born September 12, 1874 in Spoon Cove and they had a daughter Violet. If any Coombs are related to this Emberley I have lots of info on the Emberleys.

Mary Elizabeth Emberley b 12 Sept. 1874 to George & Mary Emberley at Spoon Cove, Burin , Newfoundland . She was baptized 25 Oct. 1874 by G. Forsey, Methodist.

George Bryant Coombs b 5 Aug. 1877 to David Coombs & Rebecca England Beazley at Stepaside, Burin, Newfoundland. He was baptized 16 Sept. 1877.

George Bryant had at least two siblings :
Eliza Wilmot Coombs
bpt. 1874 , Spoon Cove

Elizabeth Beazley Coombs
b 8 Aug. 1875, bpt. 10 Oct 1875
Spoon Cove

David Coombs & Rebecca England Beazley were married 5 Dec. 1866 at Burin by T. Harris. Witnesses to the wedding were Thomas Walsh Beazley and William Harry Pine.

George Bryant Coombs & Mary Elizabeth Emberley had at least four children:

David Wilmot Coombs 1903 - 1982
George F. Coombs 1905 - 1987
Lillian Isabel Coombs 1908 - ?
Violet Elizabeth Coombs 1909 - 1997
It appears that George Bryant and Mary Elizabeth immigrated from Newfoundland to the Boston area prior to their marriage.
This info and more is available at www.familysearch.org

My Maternal Grandfather, Patrick Traverse's (born 1894 or 1896) mom was Margaret Emberley. She had a sister named Annie Emberly. They were probably born in last quarter of the century.
Would love to have more information.
