I am researching the genealogy of James White of St. Brendan's, Bonavista Bay, NL.. James White (my great grandfather) appears in the 1921 Census as being from (or born?) at St. Brendan's. James may have been married previous to 1909. I am seeking further information on this marriage(?) and the children of this couple. My grandfather Malcolm White was born on December 17 1902 and (I think) a child of this marriage. James married Ellen Hollahan (or Hollohan?) on November 24 1909. Their daughter Elizabeth Beatrice was born at St. Brendan's on September 18 1915. Their daughter Helen Mary was born at St. Brendan's on October 12 1920. Their son James Edward was born December 27 1923. Are White's currently living at St. Brendan's decendants of James(?) and has anyone pursued this family history(?) Also, I am seeking further information on Ellen Hollahan (Hollohan?) and would very much like to make contact with anyone who has pursued her family history.
