I’m seeking information on’ Captain’ Sydney HALE or HILL b about 1800. Sydney is said to have lived at Brigus. It has been suggested that Sydney changed his name from HILL TO HALE !! Said to have had a son William Richard who married Mary Ann EVELEIGH in 1858.
Our Hale family are known to have lived at Fogo, Change Islands , Newstead and other Notre Dame Bay Towns.
