Hi. I am looking for anyone who has done research on the Scott family in Newfoundland from around the mid to late 1700's. I have been researching the English Scott lines for many years, and through dna matches, now consider that the nephews of my Scott ancestor must have migrated to Newfoundland. I am particularly interested in anyone who has researched Benjamin Scott b1764 Poole, Dorset England, who married Mary White. One of their sons, William Scott b1793 migrated to Upper Gullies, Newfoundland where he married Providence Roberts. I am interested to know if anyone knows of the father of Benjamin Scott 1764. Hi Rosie! I'm of the Scott linage! I am Karen Hickey of RonHickey and Stella (Scott) moms Father was Che's Scott born June 3,1909 of Eli Scott1877,Levi 1839,William 1793,Benjamin 1764. I grew up in upper gullies where my Mom is still living on Scotts road south. |
