I'm searching for information on 3 brothers that left English Harbour and started families in Portland, Bonavista Bay. This has been asked before quite some time ago with no resolution. My Great Grandfather was John Ivany. As the story goes...Elias, John and Alfred, left English Harbour and started their Families in Portland. We haven't been able to trace their parents in English Harbour apparently due to missing records. I've just begun searching again after several years. It appears quite a few folks are listing James and Jane as the parents. Would anyone have any documentation to support this? Thanks Glenn gfi.home@hotmail.com |
