Looking for information on my great-grandfather. Born in approximately 1895. His father's name may have been Robert Reardon. Wife was Mary Reardon (Brennan).

Stan and Mary were married in Petty Harbor, District of St John's: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=1790939" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
1 Jun 1919
He was 24, living in St John's, she was 23 from Gould's.
Witnesses: Francis Reardon & Marion Brennan
I'll look for more.
Steve

add: Looks like Marion married Patrick Raymond that same year. Might be Mary's sister as she is also living in Gould's and married at Petty Hr. Strange that Marion is entered as "Marion Brennan" in Mary's marriage record because she married Patrick a few months before Mary married Stan. It seems she should have been "Marion Raymond." Either way, Marion is definitely closely related.

The 1921 census has Stan and Mary living in St John's West. States Stan was born in Carbonear, Nov 24, 1896, and Mary in Goulds, Oct 22, 1898. Irish women are notorious for shaving a few years off their age! They have son Francis.

The Roman Catholic parish registers state that Stanislaus Reardon was born 20 December 1895, Carbonear, the son of Robert Reardon and Mary Newhook.

Mary Brennan is listed as having been born 18 October 1896, Goulds, the daughter of Timothy Brennan and Mary Ann Eddicott. Timothy and Mary Ann had eleven children.

I suspect that Mary Ann was the daughter of William Joseph Eddicott and Sarah Williams (c1824-1902) who were married 10 November 1854. William and Sarah had eight children.

Hello,

Mary Brennan is the sister of my grandfather, Walter Brennan. If you would like information on the Brennan family, let me know - I have quite a bit.

Thank you all so much!!!

My nanny is going to be thrilled. I believe his wife Mary's parents may have been Walter and Mary Brennan (Lamb) but i'm not certain.

Ed, I have the Mary Eddicotte that was the daughter of William joseph Eddicotte & Sarah Williams as dying 31 Jan 1860 as an infant. Don't have documentation on it but the date came from Ron.

Also, I have 12 children for Timothy & Mary Ann Brennan:
Michael b1880
Ellen b1882 (James Putt)
William Henry b1885
Timothy 1886-1916
Ambrose b1889
Sarah Mary b1892
William Joseph 1894-1979 (Bridget Finn; Annie Josephine Walsh)
Mary b1896 (Stanislaus Reardon)
Angela Mary b1899 (Richard Fowler; ? Delaney)
Marion Joseph 1901 - 1979 (Patrick Raymond)
Leo J 1903-1977 (Margaret Mary Doyle)
Walter b1904

Maybe I have someone mixed up?

Donna, I would love to learn more from you! As you can tell, I have several blanks, including your own grandfather. I'll share what I have.

Thanks HelpingNan for the query.

Trishe

Trishe,

Contact me on my email: dcmlbc@gmail.com

My grandfather Walter Brennan was the youngest of Mary Ann and Timothy's children. He was born in 1904 and died in 1951. When I started my research on the Brennan family, I had very little to go on as my mother died young. But I've gotten quite a bit now.
