I've been trying to trace my Butler line but with no luck so far. My ancestor James Butler (unkn b;unkn d) married Margaret Finlay (b. 1838 d.1928). She was from Daniel's Point in Trepassey and thy raised their family in Path End, St. Mary's Bay. I've found 3 Butler marriages in the RC Basilica records with a link to the Southern Shore including Richard married to Phillis Gordon, Thomas to Dorah Glin and John to Elizabeth Glyn. Just wondering if anyone has any information on these families?

Hi.
You mentioned Butler. I have found a few Butlers connected to my family which I cannot account for in the Harbour Main area, in particular Chapel's Cove, Salmon Cove and Bacon Cove. Don't know if this is relevant, but worth a try. Good luck.
I'm looking for Sullivans, Curtis, Brennan.
