I am the great grandson of William Brown, father of my grandfather, Frederick Brown who was born in Newfoundland and later became an American citizen. I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding my ancestors beyond that my great grandfather was one of those wounded in the Orangemen's Parade in 1883. Thank you and best regards.
Thank you,
Bob Guidara Destin, Florida

Bob,
I have several William Browns and Frederick Browns in the same family from the Harbour Grace area, scene of the Affray on Boxing Day 1883.
If your William was William Hamilton Brown who married Isabella Sparkes you have made a connection.
