You are a lucky guy Gerry, as well as a generous one!

Questions: I have 4 children for William Dowden & Anne Sceviour:
William (1836-1915) m. 1860 Susanna Allen (1842-1922) - anything on her parents?
Jane (1838-1914) m. 1860 John Martin Hennebury - any dates on him or parents?
Thomas (1842-1927) m. 1865 Sybella Ann Chafe (1840-1896)
Margaret Hannah (1844- ??) m. 1863 John Jocelyn (no dates) - info on him or parents?

I only have the names, "William Dowden & Anne Sceviour" - no other information.

Anything you can help me with would be great! I'd be happy to share anything I can with you too.
Thanks for the offer.
Trishe

Hi Trishe, Clearly I do not check this site often enough. Sorry about the delay

Susannah Allen was born in Greenspond, Bonavista Bay, NL. to Robert and Ann. She died on March 22 1922 and is buried at the Forest Rd. Anglican Cemetery in St. John's, NL. They had 10 children
John Hennebury was born on Aug. 25 , 1830 and died Dec 5 1892 in St. John's. If you come across a researcher named Gail Smith, she has a lot of information on the Hennebury family.
I have no information on John Jocelyn, except that they had 5 children.

Good luck
Cheers
Gerry

Hello Gerry,
Have you ever encountered a misspelling of Dowden to Downey?
Tx,
Christina
