May also be spelled Monk or mispelled Mank. I am looking for information on my father's (Reginald Monks) family. They lived in Coopers Cove and my grandfather William Monk died young, in his 20's. His name was William Monks and I'd really like to know more about his parents (my great-grandparents). My grandmother was named Janie Haines (sometimes spelled Hynes). Her mother was Harriett Williams. I would like to find out more about the families on this tiny settlement next to Tack's Beach on Merasheen in Plancentia Bay. |
