Hello,
I have done a little research, not much, on the Vigus of Stepaside because two of them married my Tipple side of the family. James Vigus, born 1851 at Stepaside (died 1918) married my great aunt Sarah Tipple and her brother Thomas, my great uncle married Bertha Vigus, 1869-1894. Bertha was the daughter of John Vigus and Elizabeth Foote, who was the brother of James Vigus. Their parents were Robert and Elizabeth Vigus. Thus Bertha was both the niece of James and his sister in law.
Do you have much on the Vigus Family?
