Anglican Births:

1 - Dec 31, 1820 Bonavista, Jane, female to William & Sarah Palmer
2 - Nov 28, 1824 Bonavista, Amelia, female to William & Sarah Palmer
3 - May 19, 1839 Plate Cove, Bonavista Sarah, female to William & Sarah Palmer

I'm looking for any information on this family, and especially Amelia who married John Butcher of Twillingate.

Using the search engines on this site and Newfoundland genweb as well as familysearch.org, you can find source documents that give some info on Amelia Palmer Butcher's life.
John Butcher and Amelia had their son James William baptised on Dec. 27, 1850. A notation in the margin of the record notes that John and Amelia married on Feb. 22, 1851. On the marriage record Amelia's residence was recorded as Plate Cove and John's as Hazelborough, Somersetshire, England.
These events are found in the Greenspond, Bonavista Bay Church of England records.
The next couple of references were recorded in the Methodist church in Twillingate. John and Amelia had a daughter Lucinda Jane baptised on Nov 27, 1856 at 7 mo. There is a marriage record for a daughter Ruth Butcher (age 20) to David Young in 1880. John and Amelia's names are on the transcript.
There is a death record for Amelia Butcher, July 3, 1894 at age 70. That is from the Twillingate Methodist death records transcribed on this site. These are what I was able to find in a short time. Hope it points you in the right direction to dig deeper.
