Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Weeks - I am trying to locate information on my great great Grandfather Henry F.A. Weeks. He was born in New Foundland abt 1846 according to the PEI 1881 Census. His father was English and his mother Irish. He moved to PEI and married a Mary Ann Walsh (Welsh) That is the only information I have on him. I have been at a roadblock for sometime now and am looking for any information Possible on the Weeks family.

Hi, I don't know if this will help you or not, but there are Weeks families in the Bonavista North region. I have been doing some work on my husband's family tree and have come across that name in our tree. From what I can tell Weeks and Wix were used interchangeably. Hope this helps! Good luck.
