John Fahey of Western Bay married Ellen Fogarty of Northern Bay on 20 November 1828. They had at least seven children: Caroline (1830); Thomas (1831); Philip (1834); Andrew (1836); Mary Ann (1838); Eliza (1841); and Jane (1843). I suspect that Ellen Fogarty was likely the daughter of Thomas Fogarty and Jane Godfrey who had a daughter Eleanor baptized on 5 October 1809. Thomas Fogarty is listed as owning property in Northern Bay with John Cummins in 1796. John Connell of Broad Cove married Mary Fahey on 31 May 1857. They had at least six children: Bridget (1858); Mary (1861); James (1865); Margaret (1869); Alice (1871); and Teresa (1873). John Connell may have been the son of John Connell and Bridget Power who was baptized on 1 June 1827.
