Ackerman, Etsell, Brown: Looking for Gertrude Ackerman who m William G (Goodland) Etsell on 10 Dec 1913 in Everett, MA, USA. Gertrude was the d/o Joseph and Francis Ackerman , nee Brown, both from Bonavista, NL. Gertrude's mother Francis was the d/o William and Mary Ann Brown, nee Manuel. And William was the s/o Robert Porter and Ann Brown nee Shearing. Robert was the s/o William Brown Esq. of Bonavista who died in 1793. Would like to find living relatives in the U.S. Gertrude's sister Helen lived with them for awhile according to a 1930 census in Arlington, MA USA. William Etsell also had an older brother Joseph who came to the US and m Elsie E Rolls on 16 Jun 1910. I believe Elsie was from NL. Also but not sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hi there, My grandmother was Emmaline Ackerman from Bonavista and I know there are relatives by the name of Brown because I remember a man who's last name was Brown came to visit (maybe in early 70's) as he was doing research on her family. would love to hear back from you warmest regards, Thelma

William Thomas Brown B1oct1866 Trinity, Newfoundland/D6dec1943 St. Johns, NFL Rachel Roberts B1870, D1jan1894 Cabot Island, NF William Thomas Brown later married Rachel Mercer Do you have any info about these people?? |
