Looking for the surname of Sheaves of which I am a fifth generation - my dad was Donald (b. June 6, 1948 in Nova Scotia), his father was Bernard (b. Dec 25, 1920/21(?) either on the way from Newfoundland (Sheaves Cove?? or on the way over to Nova Scotia and d. Oct 16, 1998), his father Charles Sheaves b. Aug 7, 1878 and d. Dec 8, 1955)...looking for confirmation on these dates and Siblings Charles would've had and the marriage date, marriage location of him to Elizabeth Moran(en) b. March 20, 1884 and d. Sept 8, 1962
Also looking for Jemmia (Mina) Pike (Pyke) of Newfoundland who was b. Nov 28, 1862 and d. March 29, 1961. She is the daughter of Bridget Hivby(?) of Newfoundland and Emanuel Pike (Pyke) also of Newfoundland - I have NO information on Bridget or Emanuel..
Finally a Minnie Butt who became Minnie Waterfield, b. March 4, 1881 in Spanish Bay, Newfoundland to an unknown mother's name of Newfoundland (?) and Josiah Butt also of Newfoundland. Along with no information on Josiah or his late wife (whoever she was) I am looking to find out more about Spanish Bay
Any and all help would be very much appreciated. Please feel free to reply or private message me. Thank you in advance
Jennifer (Sheaves) Mannette

This is possibly the PIKE family you're looking for. They were residents of St. Lawrence. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the info, as it was given to me by someone else. However, it may provide you with some leads, or you may be able to find a contact who is researching the St. Lawrence PIKE family. Emmanuel PIKE of St. Lawrence NF & Bridget (nee KIRBY of Burin) Children: Levi Kirby b. 10 FEB 1861 St. Lawrence, NF. m. Minnie Fitzpatrick. Jemima m. Thomas Edward Collett. Albert b. 24 OCT 1863 St. Lawrence, NF. d. 10 JAN 1864 St. Lawrence. Susanna Kirby m. Peter COLLETT. Richard b.22 JAN 1867 St. Lawrence, NF.d. 12 FEB 1868 St. Lawrence. Selina Ann b.22 MAR 1869 St. Lawrence. d.2 SEP 1943 Boston. m. Isaac HANN b. 21 DEC 1863 Hr. Buffett. d. 21 JAN 1948 Arlington, MA. James Joseph b. 25 JUL 1871 St. Lawrence, NF.
