Hello, I am researching my husband's family for him and we have hit a roadblock. His grandfather was Michael J Curran b1882 in Conception Harbour, died in 1953 in New York. He was married to Mary Jane Gorman. We think Michael's parents were Patrick Curran and Kate Larrissey but I'm not sure and I have no information on either one. I have also heard Patrick's name as Martin Curran. I believe they may have been from Cat's Cove. I know they were related to Costello's and at least in the 1970s some relatives had moved to Corner Brook.
thanks very much.

Thank you so much! Do you have any information on Patrick's or Kate's parents?
I think Dick's family is also related to Costellos and Furlongs but I haven't been able to tell how yet.
I appreciate your help
Victoria

Hello:

Is your husband related to a Harry Curran, who was a Fire Chief in Halifax with the Navy in the 1950s?
