I am trying to trace back my family tree. Sadly there are two families from the 1790-1850 era with parents of the same name (John & Ann March). I have seen family trees that have the kids mixed and it is hard to clarify.
My side has Edgar born 1814, Sophia 1817, Henry 1819 & Julia 1821 for sure. The common factor that differenciates this family and the other is my family had the kids baptized years after they were born which says to me they lived away from Old Perlican where the kids were baptized, Actually Sophia, Henry and Julia were baptized on the same day in 1821, which definitely ties them together. The other family had the kids baptized within months of their birth,
John March 1782-1866 & Ann March 1787-1873 are from Old Perlican and are the "Other family. I can not verify date of Birth or Death from records I have seen for my side. I have a feeling they lived in the area, but Not in Old Perlican even though that's where the baptisms took place for the kids.
Anybody in the family is most welcome to contact me.
