Post subject:  Quirk(e) of Newfoundland

I have been tracing my family and I believe that 3 brothers, Michael, William and John left Ireland about 1825 or shortly thereafter and came to Canada. I have been told one brother, unknown which one stayed in Newfoundland, while Michael (my G.G. grandfather) and one brother left. Michael eventually settled in Guysborough, Nova Scotia and raised a family, the other unknown brother was believed to have gone to Cape Breton and from there out to Alberta. If anyone has any information that pertains to these brothers it would be greatly appreciated as I am now at the "brickwall" in my research...thanks Joe Quirk
