I would be interested in collaborating with anyone doing research on the Emberley families of Placentia Bay. My Emberley’s came from Bruley Placentia in particular William Emberley born in 1846. Any help would be appreciated

I am searching for ancestors of the Emberley/Newman/Goulding families.

I have a great grandfather Joshua E. Emberley who was born i1835 n NFLD
he married Esther Elziabeth Goulding born 1840 in Corner Brook.

As well a gggrandfather Joseph Newman born abt. 1849 married to Julia Goulding born about
1846. They had 2 daughters: Margaret Elizabeth born about 1869 and Rose born about 1870.
Rose Newman married John Smith in Montreal, QC.

Any information on these families would be appreciated.

Hi
The only Joshua Emberley I have in my database is one born about 1820 in Harbour Buffett. I had this man married to a Mary Unknown. The only child I have for this person is Arthur born about 1845 and died on Allan’s Island in 1895.
