Hi - I'm new to this site but am hoping to find some information. My ex husband's grandfather, James Thornhill, was born in Grand Banks on 9/8/1888 (according to his US WWI draft card). James moved to Maine and Massachusetts, settling in Franklin, MA. James married Mary J. Murray and they had at least 11 children, probably a few more that they lost. I'm not sure how many Thornhill families lived in Grand Banks in 1888 time frame, but I'm hoping there is still some connection.
