Hello everyone,
My name is Lois Lombardo and I have been searching my father's family for ten years now. I have found so much info but have come to a wall in Bett's Cove. I know my great-grandparents were married at Tilting RC Parish in Bett's Cove on Aug. 26th, 1878 witnessed by Alonso Spriggs and Elisa Maloney. The following month Edward Power & Elizabeth Maloney were married (9/29/1878) and witnessed by Patrick Maloney and Ann Madden. My great-grandparents had eight children. I believe John Albert was in the mining industry and may have been an engineer. I am trying to find out where they were born. John Albert claimed Nova Scotia but they can't find a record on him. Annie claimed New Foundland....if anyone could offer some info it would make my day! Thank you so much..Lois
