Hi There,

My grandmother was from Fogo but she was a Wells. Do you reconize the Wells name from Fogo?

Hi Sharon: Sorry for the delay but I was away. Yes, the name Wells is from Fogo. I have seen it on both web sites. I have no idea if they are related to the Willis family though.

My husbands gggrandmother was Rebecca Willis, born c1831, Fogo. She was married to Thomas Woolridge, her father was Charles Willis. I have three siblings listed for her--Elijah, Leah and Barnard. I would enjoy hearing from you if you are connected

Hi Marilyn:
Welcome to the family! My husband's great-grandfather was Elijah Willis, brother to Rebecca and son of Charles. I would Love to communicate with you off-line to share what we know. I have been lucky to pick up a great deal of information on Rebecca's family. My husband & I visited Fogo this past June and loved it. We met three Willis' cousins, all from different families.

Trishe

Hi Karen:

Jimmy & I are headed back to Fogo on July 10. We only have a few days but hope to explore more and meet some more people. If I pick up any information, I'll let you know.

If there are any Fogo researchers out there, we'd love to meet you!

Trishe
