I am the great grandaughter of Richard Brien and Mary Ann Kennedy (Minnie) of Topsail. I have quite a bit of information on the family but still looking for proof of the connection to Ireland. If you have any information on any of the family members I would certainly appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks Katie

My husband's side are the O'Brien's from Bay Bulls, Newfoundland. There are grave headstones on the hill in Bay Bulls of Mother Mary Brien and her 4 sons. Trying to figure out where they came from? Ireland maybe? http://ngb.chebucto.org/Cemetery/cem-ba ... -fer.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If there is a connection please contact me. Thanks Patricia

Hi - Any William O'Brien anywhere? I guesstimate he was born btwn 1855 and 1865. I only know his name and that he married a Margaret Gorman who was born 1860. They were from Topsail or Conception Bay. Thank you for your help. Taunya

Hi Kate! William is my GG grandfather. He married Margaret Gorman and had Mary Josephine and William who I believe who died in the stellarton mine explosion. Mary J married Joseph Francois Allard and had my maternal grandmother, Leceta Dorothy Allard Landry. I can find no info regarding William Sr and would appreciate any you can share. I'm in Massachusetts. My email is taunyao@msn.com. look forward to chatting! Taunya

Hi Patricia, I am connected to your O’Briens and would love to chat more! Michael and Mary (Turner) O’Brien are my 4th great grandparents. Email me if you’d like to connect - LJFerzoco@gmail.com - I would love to provide the information I have (so far!) Hi LJFerzoko. My ggg grandmother was Dorothy O’Brien b. 1777 in Bay Bulls. Dorothy’s father was Cornelius O’Brien. Is there any connection with your O’Briens from Bay Bulls? This is the only information I have on them.
