Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Hi ,
I'm a newbie on this site and hope some kind person can assist with my problem.
In the UK census William Manuel is shown b 1836 Newfoundland (British Subject) He married Mary Ann Dibben in Poole Dorset UK where they raised a family and he died in 1914.
His father according to the marriage cert was also William (occupation fisherman)
It is believed that there was a sister Ann who stayed in NFLD when brother William moved to Poole.
Would anyone know of this family or is able to direct us to where we might look on line for the information ?
