Hello,
I am looking for Jennie Rebecca JANES, born in Aug 1872, daughter of William J. JANES (or JAMES?) et Mary Hannah ???.
She would have emigrated to the US in either 1887 or 1890 where she married Charles O. Peterson, Sweden origin in 1893
In 1900 and 1910 we can find her in Brockton, Massachusetts with her husband and son, William C. In 1910 we also find her mother, Mary H JAMES residing with the family.
In 1920 we find her residing with her son and daughter-in-law in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. And then nothing... it seems like she died between 1920 and 1930.
All three census indicate she was originally from Newfoundland and her marriage certificate list William J. JANES and Mary Hannah ??? as parents.
Any info you can provide would greatly be appreciated.
