I was poking through the Internet Archive and found the following "The first Five Hundred; being a historical sketch of the military operations of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment in Gallipoli and on the Western Front during the Great War..." It was published in 1921.
It has a
lot of information. Pictures of as many men as they could find, who won what medals, maps of the major battlefields, camp life, etc.
It is available
http://archive.org/details/firstfivehundred00cramuoft as either a downloadable pdf or suitable for online reading
Enjoy,
James
