My father was born in St. John's in 1912 and was adopted in Sunnyside. There may also be a Green's Harbour connection. Can anyone give me tips for searching for a birth record in St. John's when little is know. I have his birth date and his birth mother's last name. |

Hi Susan, This NGB site is a good place to find info...use the search boxes. The link below is great too. Look at the indexes first. Knowing the families religion might help as often people ask that their children be brought up in their own faith.
