Hello my name is Bryan Manning.My grandmother was Catherine(Kathleen) Howlett of Admiral's Cove, Cape Broyle. Her Uncle's were Jim Joe and John Thomas. I just read an article on this website that was transcribed by Enid O'Brien from an interview with Jim Joe O'Brien. Is this the same Jim Joe I wonder? My grandmother said he was an oral historian and well known in the area. Can someone put me in contact with Enid O'Brien? Perhaps she's related to me or can shed some light on the Howlett / O'Brien relationship. My nan's brother's name was Phonse Howlett. Thanks, Bryan. |
