Hello i am from the uk and have been working on a farm in caister on sea norfolk. where i am working there are two gun batteries with world war 1 naval guns which were aimed at great yarmouth harbour incase of invasion. One of the retired farmers showed me around and inside a barn are names of candian gunners from the 47th field artillery regiment carved into the bricks inside what was there sleeping quarters. I have taken many photos and i have even managed to link some of the names to a list of the first 400 volunteers that i have found on this website.
