Great stuff, Pikeman. Is the "PB" used in your posts a reference to Port Blandford? |

Thanks Pikeman! Let's hope that research/sequencing is forthcoming very soon. It seems as if big things are about to happen. Please keep us updated! Steve |

Pikeman wrote: It would also explain why some Beo reconstructed skeleta show a mixture of Western Eurasian-NA features, or why some early settlers alluded their features to Sapnish Gypsys (South Asian)! Pikeman, Are you saying that these skeleta were already tested? Are they known to have had mixed with Western Eurasian people? Just wondering. Thanks for the update. Stephen |

Thanks for this, Pikeman. I have a question about the Q haplogroup. Does this clade only occur within NA populations? Would it be washed out in a few generations of European descent? In other words, say a male member of BTK had a son with a European woman. That son then started a line of descent which was purely European. Would the Q haplogroup still be prominent in all male direct descendants. Forgive my ignorance. I do find this very interesting. Stephen |
