I'm looking for any info about the wedding of Thrusa Brenton (James Brenton's daughter of Newstead) and a Jonh Watkins of Comfort-Cove.Aunt Thursa Brenton was John Watkins first wife until she died in child birth.After her death John Watkins then married Mary Helen Harvey of Comfort-Cove on March 03 1933.Records show John Watkins was married to Edward Brenton's daughter Thursa Brenton,but after personal family search He was married to James Brenton's daughter (my aunt).Just looking for info confirming my research.So any info would be a big help. |

I just took a cursory look at the records, and I think you can be reasonably certain of the following: Thursa (Brenton) Watkins died as a result of child-birth complications, on August 23, 1934 at Comfort Cove, at the age of 19 years. She was born at Newstead, daughter of James Brenton. |
