On this site I notice there are partial records or selected entries Does this mean that no other records exist or they just chose which to include on this site. If so who do I contact to view remaining records. Also why are there no B,M,D records pre 1850? If you can help pl adv
Thank You

Hi

Partial records happen because someone was digging up information on their family line and only extracted records that related and then sent the page to us for use and posting on the site. In most cases the complete set of records does exist, just that we have not had access to the original document or it has not been transcribed and sent to us for posting as complete. We always welcome anyone who is able to complete any partial document and send it along. We will gladly post it on the site for all to be able to use in their family research.

Records labeled as "complete" were transcribed and sent to us as a complete set from the referenced document.

Don

Sparky,
It all depends on where you are looking too: IF you look under Parish records for certain areas, there are listings going back further and also if you look under Vital Statistics some
records go back to the 1700's....depending on which district you are looking at...it takes some
searching for sure but worth it.
