Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

I am desperately trying to find Vital Stats for my GG Grandfather Moses Reid. 6 of the 11 Children in his Family are shown to be baptized in Hants Harbour with Russell's Cove Listed as Home town. However, there are 6 missing birth Records including his own. Does anyone out there know if Hant's Harbour Had any Records destroyed at some point???

Joseph and Mary Anne were the parents of these Children. They were my GGG Grandparents. It seems this Family was raised in Russell's Cove as they baptize Joseph Jr, Eliza, Ameilia, Cecilia and Caleb and Russell's Cove is given at each instance as Home town. Although there is an 11 year period between 1860 and 1871 that there are no Recorded Baptisms for this Couple.

I would appreciate Any Help with the question of missing Vital Stats and Parish Records that might directly cover years 1853 to 1858, and 1860 to 1871 for this Russell's Cove Family.
