Hello :)

Does anyone know under which area heading Wood's Island data is captured in the 1921 Census? It doesn't have a heading of it's own. (There is "Woody Island" under Placentia and St. Mary's District, but pretty sure that isn't it.)

I have a 2xGreat Grandfather (Patrick Emberly, 'ey' to some of the relatives) who apparently died in 1925 and was buried on Wood's Island. I'm trying to find out whether he lived there at the time of the census.

Many thanks in advance.
J

P.s. I love "smilies" and use them frequently ... and this is the second message board I've been on that provides some that are animated so even better! I must admit, though, I still find it a wee bit disconcerting to have them making faces at me while I compose messages. LOL.

Hi,

Wood's Island is in the Bay St. George District. It is under " Wood Island Hr".
